Cet événement est réservé aux membres de l'Université d'Ottawa.

La formation sur la sécurité du soudage et la formation MIG de base offerte par CEED est la première étape pour accéder à la zone de soudage du Brunsfield Centre. Dans cette formation, les participants apprendront les règles de sécurité de base de la zone de soudage et apprendront les bases du processus de soudage MIG ainsi que divers outils utilisés dans la zone de soudage.

Afin de participer, les étudiants sont prié de :

Porter des pantalons non synthétique tel qu'un jean et des chaussures fermées doit être porté. Si vous vous présentez sans vêtements appropriés, vous ne serez pas autorisé à participer à la formation.
Avoir suivi la formation de base CEED- Basic Training
L'atelier de soudage peut êtres un environement sale, alors portez des vêtements appropriés
Creéz un compte Makerepo (il sera utilisé pour garder compte des formations reçu et donne accès aux espaces de CEED)

Takes place in the Brunsfield Centre (STEM 129)

The Welding safety and Basic MIG training offered by CEED is the first step in getting access to the Welding area in the Brunsfield Centre. In this training attendees will learn the basic safety rules of the welding area and learn the basics of the MIG welding process as well as various tools used within the welding area.

Attendees are required to do the following in order to participate to this event"

Non synthetic pants such as Jeans and closed shoes must be worn. If you show up without proper clothing you will not be permitted within the welding area.
Have completed CEED- Basic Machine Shop Training.
Keep in mind that the welding area can be a dirty environement so wear appropriate clothing.
Make a Makerepo account (this will be used to keep track of your certifications and give you access to CEED spaces) http://makerepo.com/new
