La formation CNC 1 proposée par le CGEC est la première d'une formation en deux parties sur le code-G, la Fabrication Assistée par Ordinateur (FAO) et l'utilisation des fraiseuses et routeurs CNC.

La formation a lieu dans la salle de réunion au bout du couloir du Centre Brunsfield (STM 126)

Cet événement est exclusif aux membres de l'Université d'Ottawa.

La formation CNC 1 proposée par CGEC est la première des deux formations sur la façon d'utiliser en toute sécurité et efficacement les fraiseuses et les routeurs CNC. Dans cette formation, les participants apprendront les bases du code-G et comment écrire un programme simple. Elle sera suivie ultérieurement par la formation CNC 2, qui couvre les avances et les vitesses, Fusion360 et le fonctionnement de la machine.

Les participants sont obligés de faire ce qui suit afin de participer à cet événement

Apporter des chaussures fermées (les embouts en acier ne sont pas obligatoires mais recommandés)

Portez des pantalons longs

**Être certifié dans la formation de base en atelier d'usinage, la formation de fraiseuse ET la formation de tour offertes par le CGEC**

Avoir un compte Makerepo (celui-ci sera utilisé pour suivre vos certifications et vous donner accès aux espaces CGEC) http://makerepo.com/new

Tous les autres équipements et outils seront fournis pendant la formation.

The CNC training 1 offered by CEED is the first of a two-part training on G-code, Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM), and the use of CNC mills and routers.

Training takes place in the meeting room down the hall from the Brunsfield Center (STM 126)

This event is exclusive to members of the University of Ottawa.

The CNC training 1 offered by CEED is the first of two trainings on how to safely and effectively use CNC mills and routers. In this training attendees will learn the basics of G-code and how to write a simple program. It will be followed by CNC training 2 at a later date, which covers feeds and speeds, Fusion360, and machine operation.

Attendees are required to do the following in order to participate to this event

Bring closed shoes (steel toes are not mandatory but recommended)

Wear Long Pants

**Be certified in the basic machine shop training, mill training AND lathe training offered by CEED**

Have a Makerepo account (this will be used to keep track of your certifications and give you access to CEED spaces) http://makerepo.com/new
