Cette formation de fraiseuse vous permettra d’apprendre à utiliser la fraiseuse et effectuer des opérations de base de manière sécuritaire et efficace. Ceci est une formation officielle offerte par CEED qui vous donnera accès aux fraiseuses du centre Brunsfield.

Information importante:

Afin de participer, les étudiants sont prié de :
- porter des chaussures fermée (ceux avec des embouts d’acier sont recommandé mais non obligatoire)
- porter des pantalons longs
- avoir la certification de la formation de base offerte par CEED
- se créer un compte Makerepo (ceci sera utilisé pour garder compte des formations reçu et donne accès aux espaces de CEED) (http://makerepo.com/new)
- Compléter le pré-lab suivant : https://labs.makerepo.com/mill/
Il n’est pas nécessaire d’avoir déjà une formation de fraiseuse avec CEED
Ceci est un événement réservé aux membres de l’Université d’Ottawa

Join us for Valentine’s Day in crafting a unique gift for your partner – make a heart shaped jewelry dish during our Valentine’s Day special mill training! Bring your partner for a fun and creative experience together, or join solo and meet someone new!

In this mill training you will learn how to use the milling machine and complete basic operations safely and effectively. This is an official training offered by CEED which will grant you access to the mills inside Brunsfield Center.

Important information:

Attendees are required to do the following in order to participate to this event:
- Bring closed shoes (steel toes are not mandatory but recommended)
- Wear Long Pants
- Be certified in the basic machine shop training offered by CEED
- Have a Makerepo account (this will be used to keep track of your certifications and give you access to CEED spaces) http://makerepo.com/new
- Complete the following pre-lab : https://labs.makerepo.com/mill/
It is not necessary to have already done the CEED mill training
This event is exclusive to members of the University of Ottawa.

All other equipment and tools will be provided during the session.
