Cette formation de tour vous permettra d’apprendre à utiliser le tour et effectuer des opérations de base de manière sécuritaire et efficace. Ceci est une formation officielle offerte par CEED qui vous donnera accès aux tours du centre Brunsfield.

La formation a lieu au Centre de Formation en Fabrication STEM 137

Cet événement est ouvert à tous.

La formation de base au tour offerte par le CGEC est la première étape pour avoir accès aux tours du centre Brunsfield (STEM 129). Durant cette formation, les participants apprendront comment effectuer des opérations de base au tour de façon sécuritaire et efficace.

Afin de participer, les participants sont prié de :

- Porter des chaussures fermée (des bout-d’aciers sont recommandés mais pas obligatoires)

- Porter des pantalons longs

- Avoir la certification de la formation Principes fondamentaux de l'atelier offerte par le CGEC

- Se créer un compte Makerepo (ceci donne accès aux espaces du CGEC et permet de suivre vos formations complétées): http://makerepo.com/new

- Compléter le pré-lab suivant : https://labs.makerepo.com/lathe/

Tout autre équipement, outil et information sera fourni lors de la formation.

Saint-Patrick’s Day Special Workshop

Join us for Saint-Patrick’s Day in crafting a useful themed gift – make a beer-shaped bottle opener keychain during our Saint-Patrick day special lathe training! A unique and practical trinket that will surely come in handy during the festivities!

In this lathe training you will learn how to use the lathe machine and complete basic operations safely and effectively. This is an official training offered by CEED which will grant you access to the lathes inside Brunsfield Center.

The Basic Lathe training offered by CEED is the first step in getting access to the Lathes inside the Brunsfield Center.

Training takes place in the Manufacturing Training Center STEM 137

This event is open to all.

The Basic Lathe training offered by CEED is the first step in getting access to the Lathes inside the Brunsfield Center (STEM 129). In this training attendees will learn how to use the basic operations of the lathe machine safely and effectively.

Attendees are required to do the following in order to participate to this event:

- Bring closed shoes (steel toes are not mandatory but recommended)

- Wear Long Pants

- Be certified in the Shop Fundamentals training offered by CEED

- Have a Makerepo account (this will be used to keep track of your certifications and give you access to CEED spaces): http://makerepo.com/new

All other equipments and tools will be provided during the session.
