The spring cohort of the PSCC Train the Trainer program is scheduled for the following dates:

Session 1: Friday May 9th (Orientation and information session)
Session 2: Friday May 23rd (Practice session presentations)

The training will start at 12:00 noon. We have allowed until 4 pm for each session, however we have found that end time can vary depending on how many participants are in the cohort. It is possible that we may end earlier than 4 pm, in which case we will give you your time back. Short stretch/grab a tea/bio breaks will be provided.

Attendance at both sessions is mandatory in order to be awarded a certificate of completion.

Please note: In order to participate in the Train the Trainer program the following conditions must have been met:

Your organization must have a signed "Organization Sign-off" which sets the expectations between your organization and Support House Centre for Innovation in Peer Support
You must have taken the 30 hour Peer Support Core Competencies training program either through us, or a participating trainer partner organization

Trainers are expected to have:

Lived experience
A strong ability to facilitate groups/training

Experience providing peer support is an asset.
