It’s time to SHINE TOGETHER! Don your most fabulous party hat and get ready to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the SHINE Awards with your fellow design community members on Wednesday, February 26th, 2025! This year, in addition to toasting the SHINE Awards recipients, we will raise our glasses to IDIBC’s 75th Anniversary!

The Shine Awards of Excellence showcases the talent, skills and innovation of British Columbia's professional registered interior designers and this year we are taking it up a notch. SHINE2025 Awards includes the presentation of the first ever Climate Action and Innovation award reflecting IDIBC's climate manifesto , announcement of 2 new categories for next year, and a couple of surprises. With so much to celebrate this year, the awards presentation is choreographed to be crisp and the doors to the after party opening early. This is an event you won’t want to miss!

Party Hats and Cocktail Attire. You are encouraged to put your creativity to use and create a custom party hat to wear. Here’s your chance to up-cycle those fabric samples collecting dust in your library! The best hat/fascinator of the night will be awarded a prize by a team of roving judges!
