March is Humber Earth Month, and this year's celebration is exceptional as we bring our community together to think about the future of sustainability at the college with the design of the next Sustainability Vision for Humber and beyond.

Facing Future Exhibit Tour

March 13, 12pm to 1pm
Lakeshore Campus (L Building Gallery)

Embark on a guided tour of this group exhibit at Humber Galleries. Facing Future speaks to the realities of the present and the world to come, dealing with themes of the climate emergency, immigration, migration, identity, connection to one’s ancestral land and within their current place in the world.

Shaping Sustainable Futures

March 19, 9am to 12pm
North Campus (BCTI Atrium), Lakeshore Campus (L1017), and IGS (Learning Commons)

The cornerstone event of Humber Earth Month is organized into two parts. First, a panel session where panelists will discuss different perspectives that imagine a more inclusive and sustainable society. Then, take part in a community engagement session that will inform Humber’s next Sustainability Vision for the future.

Food and refreshments will be provided! 

Event attendees will be entered to win a $200 gift card to Planta restaurant.

The event will take place at all three campuses simultaneously, so you can join us wherever is most convenient for you!

Earth Fest

March 27, 12pm to 2pm at North Campus (LCR)
March 28, 12pm to 2pm at Lakeshore Campus (G Commons)

In partnership with First Year Experience (FYE), the Earth Fest is an event dedicated to exploring the many dimensions and future of sustainability. Meet inspiring representatives from green organizations and take part in hands-on activities to experience sustainability in action.

At Lakeshore Campus, a Thrift Pop Up Store will be set up at the Fest where attendees can purchase second-hand clothing at low prices.
