La formation a lieu au Centre Brunsfield (STEM 129)

Cet événement est ouvert à tous.

La formation Sécurité en soudage et bases en MIG offerte par le CGEC est la première étape pour accéder à la zone de soudage du Centre Brunsfield. Dans cette formation, les participants apprendront les règles de sécurité entourant le soudage, les bases du soudage MIG et divers outils utilisés dans la baie de soudage.

Afin de participer, les participants sont prié de :

-Porter des pantalons longs non synthétique (tel qu'un jean)

-Porter des chaussures fermées (bouts-d'acier reccommandés mais non obligatoire)

Si vous vous présentez sans vêtements appropriés, vous ne serez pas autorisé à participer à la formation.

-Avoir la certification de la formation Principes fondamentaux de l'atelier offerte par le CGEC

-Se créer un compte Makerepo (ceci donne accès aux espaces du CGEC et permet de suivre vos formations complétées) : http://makerepo.com/new

La baie de soudage peut être un environnement salissant, habillez-vous en conséquences.

The Welding safety and Basic MIG training offered by CEED is the first step in getting access to the Welding bay inside the Brunsfield Centre.

Training takes place in the Brunsfield Centre (STEM 129)

This event is open to all.

The Welding safety and Basic MIG training offered by CEED is the first step in getting access to the Welding area inside the Brunsfield Centre (STEM 129). In this training, attendees will learn the basic safety rules of the welding area, the basics of the MIG welding process, and how to use various tools within the welding area.

Attendees are required to do the following in order to participate to this event:

- Bring closed shoes (steel toes are not mandatory but recommended)

- Wear long non synthetic pants (such as Jeans)

If you show up without proper clothing you will not be permitted within the welding area.

- Be certified in the Shop Fundamentals training offered by CEED

- Have a Makerepo account (this will be used to keep track of your certifications and give you access to CEED spaces): http://makerepo.com/new

The welding area can be a dirty environment, dress accordingly.
