Join us on October 8th at the Wilfrid Laurier University - BRANTFORD Campus - for a one-of-a-kind event designed exclusively for Laurier students. Get ready to roll up your sleeves and tackle the Laurier 2040 Challenge: Mapping Climate Action!

Here's what to expect:

Calling all creative problem solvers! Work in teams of a maximum of five to devise innovative solutions that will transform our campus into a sustainable, low-carbon community by the year 2040.
Let your imagination run wild as you scout out potential climate mitigation strategies, explore adaptation techniques, and brainstorm community actions that can make a real difference.
But wait, there's a twist! Prepare for unexpected hurdles and constraints that will challenge your resourcefulness and push your problem-solving skills to the limit.
Show us what you've got! Each team will be evaluated by a panel of judges who will assess the brilliance of your ideas and the strength of your presentation.
The stakes are high! The winning team will walk away with an incredible prize - either $100 OneCard top-ups for each team member OR the opportunity to donate $500 to their preferred environmental charity in Canada.
