On Tuesday June 23, For What We Labour will be playing at Dundas Little Theatre, where it will be recorded by Cable14 to air on community television this fall. At the same time, half of all ticket sales will go towards The Keaton's House Pediatric Hospice - a place for children and families when life does not seem so fun or funny, but where time spent and good memories with loved ones means the most. The hospice is being built in Dundas. So with the purchase of a ticket, you'll be supporting kids and the arts. The show will be recorded TWICE. And the sound of your laugh, happening scene after scene after scene, will be featured on local television! What a night.

ABOUT THE STORY

In the words of the god Dionysus: This is an ordinary tale made into an epic!

Move aside Odysseus and say hello to Anthisma, our very stressed protagonist. Anthisma's greatest desire is to go on an adventure but her unexpected pregnancy - and the baby daddy's untimely return - complicates things. Set in Ancient Greece, this original comedy and "kitchen sink drama" follows a ensemble cast of characters who will make you giggle, as hijinx after hijinx unfold on stage.
