Join us on October 8, 2024, from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM for our Beautiful Native Plants Workshop at the Humber Arboretum, in the Centre for Urban Ecology (CUE). Discover how native plants can enhance your garden while supporting local ecosystems.

Led by trained TRCA Community Outreach Staff, this workshop includes interactive activities that allow you to get hands-on experience with local native plants, empowering you to become a better steward of the environment. Participants will receive a free copy of the Greening Your Grounds Homeowner’s Guide, filled with practical instructions for creating your own natural garden oasis at home.

This workshop, made possible by CICan Living Lab funding, presents participants with environmental stewardship learnings, encouraging Humber participants to connect with nature outside of traditional classroom settings within the Arboretum and Centre for Urban Ecology spaces.

Throughout the workshop, attendees will gain valuable insights into the natural world, leaving them inspired to implement sustainable practices in their own gardens and communities.
