Grüezi! Welcome to the first-ever Queer-o-Vision (Eurovision viewing party) happening this Saturday, May 17 at DROM (458 Queen Street West). Here’s everything you need to know before you come scream at a TV with 80 strangers:

Event Details

Doors open at 2:00 PM and we’ll wrap around 7:00 PM (depending on how long Europe drags out the vote).
Eurovision broadcast starts at 3pm
Your ticket includes one free drink
Costumes welcome and encouraged – we (the hosts) will be dressed up, so feel free to match our energy.
We’re over 70% sold out – fewer than 30 tickets left. Tell your pals to get theirs now, or risk watching from their couch.
Tickets will be sold at the door only if there’s space, so online is safest.

Fantasy Pool & Voting

During the 30-minute break after performances, we’ll run our own Eurovision vote and crown our Eurovision king, queen, or non-gendered monarch
You’ll help decide who we think should win – so stick around!

Bangers Alert – Here’s What to Watch For

We’ve got some serious tracks this year:

Poland: Gaja is a power hit – don’t sleep on it.
Estonia: “Espresso Macchiato” is pure chaotic good.
Sweden: “Bara bada bastu” is back-to-back bop energy.
Germany: First time in over a decade they’ve sent a German-language banger. It slaps.
Finland: High-energy dance-pop – you will sweat.
Iceland and Latvia: Both serving unique and fun performances.
And of course, Italy and Spain continue their streak of being effortlessly cool with gorgeous tracks this year too.

Final Notes

Tickets will be scanned at the door, and you’ll get your drink ticket when you arrive.
If you came last year – expect more. If you didn’t – welcome to the glitter cult.
