Immerse yourself into the world of road tennis during The Bajan Serve — an exploration of road tennis and the benefits of Caribbean wellness.

The Bajan Serve is a culture-focused event that introduces attendees to Barbados' indigenous sport: road tennis. With the highest amount of centenarians on the planet, we're passing along some of Barbados' and the region's health and wellness practices to incorporate in our busy lives. Held at the gorgeous Plock Tennis Club, attendees will have access to the full suite of the venue's amenities including the ball machine court and the rally court.

The best part? 100% of event proceeds go towards supporting our friends at Black Health Alliance.

As people of Caribbean descent and a settler on stolen and occupied land, we wish to acknowledge both the land we are situated on and hold ancestries to, that include but are not limited to, sites we now call Toronto, Guyana, Barbados, Jamaica, and Trinidad, among others. For thousands of years, it has been the traditional land of the Huron-Wendat, the Seneca, the Mississaugas of the Credit River, as well as the Kalinago, Taino, Lokono, Akawaio, Arecuna, Macusi, Warrau, Wapisiana, Wai Wai, Patamona, and Kalina peoples. As we are positioned in a time of ongoing precarity, and largely continue to gather as non-Indigenous, arrivant, and settler communities, it is important to be reminded of our commitment to solidarity, marginalized coalition, and decolonization efforts in support of and in community and collaboration with Indigenous communities across Turtle Island and beyond.
