Your day will start with registration – The registration desk opens at 8 until 8:45

Once you register head in and enjoy a North 46 “Early Riser” Continental Breakfast

· Assortment of freshly baked muffins, Variety of breakfast pastries & bannock, Jams, Butter & assorted spreads. Assortment of Chilled fruit juices, Fresh brewed coffee & regular and herbal teas

Bring some business cards and network. This will be a fabulous opportunity to meet other Manitoulin Island Businesswomen. We are 350+ strong and if you need a product/support/service, you can find it here on Manitoulin Island. Get to know the other like-minded businesswomen and let them meet and get to know you.

The conference will start at 9 and will comprise a variety of topics (with some presenters).

· Funding Opportunities

· Tourism/Advertising Opportunities

· Financial things

· How you can use AI in your business

· Making Manitoulin Island a culinary destination

Interactive Sessions

· 1st round table – What topics would you like to see that will help your business grow (could be accounting, learning how to do word press, HR etc.). The top 5 topics will be identified, and these will make up the 5 networking meetings that will be held over the remainder of the year. I will host them across Manitoulin Island from West to East so it is fair for everyone when it comes to travelling.

· 2nd round table – The advantages of Collaborations. A chance for you to identify what things you could use in your business or what products/services you have that could be used by other businesses. A chance to consider things you may not have – something as simple as displaying an artists work in your business and allow your customers to see and potentially purchase it, or using local custom designed soaps in your Air B&B or restroom at your business, or combining some food products.

We will have a working break around 10:30

We will have the North 46 “North Channel Lunch Buffet” around noon.

· Pickle tray, vegetable platter with dip, Potato Salad, Pasta Salad, Mixed Green salad with dressing. Maple Glazed Carrots, Roasted Potatoes, Herb Roasted Chicken, Whitefish with dill butter, Assorted desserts, fresh fruit platter with Greek yogurt dip. Freshly brewed coffee/tea/juice/pop

We will have an afternoon working break around 3pm
