You're all registered for the Weekend in the Wild!

THINGS TO KNOW:

Gregg River Cabin is a rustic campground with a cook shack and space for tents/campers. There is an outhouse and pump water. (Water bottles will be provided.)
There are NO amenities out at the site: meaning no power, wifi, or cell service. We will be completely unplugged & tech free. On Thursday evening, you'll have a chance to send a final text or call and share emergency numbers passing through Hinton (as once you've passed this point there is no service). Please trust us on this—disconnecting will be refreshing. Please inform your loved ones that you’ll be unreachable during this time.
Planned activities include hiking, quadding, board games, and shooting guns. You must provide your own quad If you wish to participate. You can bring your own licensed gun if you want, but there will be opportunity to shoot even if you do not have your own. Fishing may be available depending on water levels/speeds. If you have gear and a license, you are welcome to bring it.
Gregg River Cabin is approximately 3.5 hours from Leduc. When looking it up in Google Maps, make your first stop Hinton, then Gregg River Cabin. This will ensure you take the smoothest/easiest route instead of lots of back roads.
Food is PROVIDED for the following: Thursday: campfire/supper, Friday: breakfast, bag lunch, & supper, Saturday: breakfast & lunch. *Feel free to bring your own additional snacks.

WHAT TO BRING:

Warm layers (we are in the mountains and it can get cold any time of day)
Rubber boots (wet deep grass)
Bug spray
Rain gear
Warm clothes
Backpack
Extra snacks
Camping gear you do have!

*If you don’t have a tent or camper, you can still come! We will make sure there’s room for everyone.
