SimpliEvents services and domains including related Simpli Events, pages and subdomains that refer to these terms (our site) are offered, maintained, provided and developed by Simpli Events and its parent company. All of the aforementioned is hereafter referred to in this document as the Services. In this document, Organizers, Attendees and other visitors to the site or Users of the services will be referred to as you, your and User(s).
Simpli Events provides services to Organizers of events and related activities (Organizers) through which they can promote and sell reservations and tickets that allow Attendees/ticket-holders/purchasers (Attendees) to attend, partake in, or access events. Organizers may also sell related goods or services by means related to their events through the platform.
Simpli Events is owned and operated by 13928501 Canada Inc. ("Ruby Development", Ruby, the Developer), an Ontario corporation with its principal place of business in MIssissauga, ON.
This Privacy Policy applies only to our online activities and is valid for Users of the services with regards to the information shared and/or collected on Simpli Events. Simpli Events may collect your credit card details, such as your credit card number, expiry data, and billing address, to secure certain payments. If you use our payment processing services, Simpli Events will collect financial information from you as needed to facilitate payments and information required for tax reasons.
We may also collect or receive Personal Data from third-party sources, such as third-party services, your bank, our payment processing partners and credit reporting agencies.
If you register for a paid event, Simpli Events will collect financial information from you, such as your credit card number, expiry data, and billing address, some of which may constitute Personal Data.
We may also collect or receive Personal Data from other sources, such as Organizers, other Attendees, social media or other third-party integrations, your credit card issuing bank, our payment processing partners or other third parties.

We will not sell your Personal Data to third parties, including third-party advertisers. There are, however, certain circumstances in which we may disclose, transfer or share your Personal Data with certain third parties without further notice to you, as set forth below.
As Simpli Events is developed, we may buy or sell businesses and or assets. In the case of such an event or a merger, reorganization, dissolution, Personal Data may be part of the assets transferred. You understand and accept that any successor or acquirer of Simpli Events will continue to have the right to use your Personal Data and other information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
Your Personal Data may be shared with the developer, subsidiaries and/or affiliates for reasons consistent with this Privacy Policy. Our parent companies, subsidiaries and affiliates will be bound to maintain that Personal Data in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

You agree that we are not responsible for the actions of these Organizers in regards to your Personal Data. You can connect your Simpli Events account to your accounts on third-party services like Facebook, in which case we may collect, use, disclose, transfer and store/retain information relating to your account with such third-party services in accordance with this Privacy Policy. For example, if you connect with Facebook, we store your Facebook id, first name, last name, email, location, friends list and profile picture and use them to connect with your Facebook account to provide certain functionality on the Services, like recommending events that your Facebook friends are interested in and sharing the events you are interested in, or attending, with certain groups of people like your Facebook friends.
Your Personal Data may be disclosed if required by law in order to respond to a subpoena or request for law enforcement, a court or government agency (including public authorities for national security or law enforcement requirements) or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: i) comply with legal obligations; ii) protect or defend our rights, interested or property or that of third parties; iii) prevent or investigate possible wrongdoing in relation to the Services; iv) in urgent circumstances to protect the personal safety of Users of the Services or the public; or v) to protect against legal liability.
Simpli Events follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit services. All hosting companies do this as part of hosting services' analytics. The information collected by log files include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. The purpose of the information is for analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking Users' movement on the service, and gathering demographic information.
Like any other service, Simpli Events uses 'cookies'. These cookies are used to store information including visitors' preferences, and the pages on the service that the visitor accessed or visited. The information is used to optimize the Users' experience by customizing our Simpli Events page content based on visitors' browser type and/or other information.

Simpli Events does not knowingly collect any Personal Identifiable Information from children under the age of 13. If you think that your child provided this kind of information on our service, Simpli Events strongly encourage you to contact us immediately and Simpli Events will do our best efforts to promptly remove such information from our records.
